Pair Networks and its wholly owned subsidiary Ryousha Kokusai LLC d/b/a Pair International (collectively “Pair Networks”) are committed to the preservation of your privacy.

Information Collection and Use

Pair Networks is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. This Website Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit our websites, www.pair.com, www.ryousha.com, and webmail.pair.com (our “Websites”) and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information. This Policy does not apply to Hosting Services or Domain Services. Pair Networks collects information from our customers only through password-enabled or secure interface access points.

This Policy applies to information we collect:

  • On our Websites;
  • In email, text, and other electronic messages between you and our Websites.
  • Phone calls from you.
  • When you interact with our advertising and applications on third-party websites and services.

It does not apply to information collected:

  • Pursuant to our Hosting Services Data Privacy Policy and Transparency Statement or the Domain Services Privacy Policy and Transparency Statement;
  • By us offline or through any other means, including on any other website operated by us or any third party; or
  • By any third party, including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or through the Website.

This Policy may change from time to time (see Notification of Changes). Registration

In order to use our services, a potential customer must first complete the appropriate registration form. During registration the customer is required to give their contact information (such as name and e-mail address). This information is used to contact the customer about the services which they have purchased, or about which they have contacted us.

Purchases

In order to make payment to Pair Networks, a customer must provide contact information (such as name and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to process payments. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to contact the customer.

Log Files

We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer our site and servers, track access, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. It is possible that personal information about a customer may be included in the log files due to the normal functions of IP addresses and Web browsing.

Sharing

We do not share your data with others except as necessary to process payments, provide services, address fraud, security or technical issues, respond to an emergency, or in response to legal requirements imposed by court-issued subpoenas, search warrants and/or court orders. As is common and routine, and as further detailed below, we may use cookies or similar software to allow us to identify returning visitors without requiring the reentry of data with each log in. If you object to this you can disable cookies through your web browser although that may disrupt the ease of use of our Websites. Our Websites contain links to other sites. Please be aware that Pair Networks is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. Surveys, Marketing, & Contests

From time-to-time our site requests information from website visitors via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary. Information requested of participants may include contact information (such as name and shipping address) and demographic information (such as zip code and age). Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site. We may also provide marketing materials and information about our services along with your invoice for services rendered.

Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information

We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:

  • Tracking Technologies and Advertising. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of this site may then be inaccessible or not function properly.
  • Promotional Offers from Pair. If you do not wish to have your contact information used by us to promote our own or third parties’ products or services, you can opt-out by sending us an email stating your request to support@pair.com. If we have sent you a promotional email, you may send us a return email asking to be omitted from future email distributions. This opt out does not apply to information provided to us as a result of a product purchase, warranty registration, product service experience or other transactions.

We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. You can opt out of receiving targeted ads from members of the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”) on the NAI’s website.

Children Under the Age of 16

Our Websites are not intended for children under 16 years of age. No one under age 16 may provide any personal information to or on our Websites. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you are under 16, do not use or provide any information on our Websites or through any of its features, register on the Websites, make any purchases through the Websites, use any of the interactive or public comment features of the Websites, or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, email address, or any screen name or user name you may use. Security

We use reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with applicable standards to protect and limit access to personal information.

When our registration forms ask you to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or social security number), that information is encrypted and protected.

All of our customers’ information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted to our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, a billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. As a secure facility, our offices are restricted to employees and escorted authorized visitors only. We have implemented written security policies to ensure customer privacy. Furthermore, all employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every quarter, as well as any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our customers’ information is protected. Finally, the servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment within our private datacenter.

In the event a customer forgets their password, they must provide personal information to authenticate themselves and obtain the password. Additionally, customers can access their own personal data by authenticating themselves. They may access their accounts to change their credit card numbers, but cannot obtain the old credit card information when doing so.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Websites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Websites. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Websites.

Site and Service Updates

We deliver several types of service announcement updates to our customers. Although most are voluntary, we may in some cases need to deliver an important service announcement to all customers without exemption.

Protection/Preservation of Data

All customer data is periodically backed up electronically, and the backups are stored off-site in a secure location.

Correcting/Updating Personal Information

A customer has the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data. A customer may exercise these rights by contacting privacycompliance@pair.com. If a customer’s personal data changes, or if a customer no longer desires our services, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update or remove that customer’s personal data in our records. In most cases, this can be achieved through the Account Control Center. Otherwise, please contact us at billing@pair.com. We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

Opt Out & Modifications

By default, customers do not receive any voluntary system updates, such as the Insider Newsletter or System Notices. Any customer who voluntarily receives these updates may unsubscribe at any time. Customers may not opt out of possibly receiving important system notifications, in the rare event that such notification would be necessary.

In-House Mechanism to Address Complaints

In the event you believe Pair Networks has failed to protect your privacy please immediately submit your concerns to our Privacy Compliance Officer at: privacycompliance@pair.com. Please provide details regarding your concerns and include full contact information so we can respond as quickly and completely as possible. If you are dissatisfied with the speed or scope of our response you can seek further in-house review by following the appeal procedures that will be provided to you. If, despite the appeal process, you are still dissatisfied, then you may proceed through the Independent Recourse Mechanism described below.

Your State Privacy Rights

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia provide (now or in the future) their state residents with rights to:

  • Confirm whether we process their personal information.
  • Access and delete certain personal information.
  • Correct inaccuracies in their personal information, taking into account the information’s nature processing purpose (excluding Iowa and Utah).

Nevada provides its residents with a limited right to opt-out of certain personal information sales. Residents who wish to exercise this sale opt-out rights may submit a request to the address listed above. However, please know we do not currently sell data triggering that statute’s opt-out requirements.

Notification of Changes

If we change our privacy policy, we will post the changes on this page so that our customers will always be aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner substantially different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify affected customers. Any such affected customer will have a choice as to whether or not we may use their information in the proposed manner.
